In January 2013, Komox First Nation Economic Development was proud to take over a 30 year-old local Comox Valley seafood business. This acquisition further fulfills our commitment and passion to expanding our traditional relationship with the coastal waters that have long been a huge part of our history in the Comox Valley.
Salish Sea Foods is committed to processing and providing the finest seafood from BC, from Pacific salmon and BC oysters, to aquacultured fin fish, clams, halibut and more.
Our modern 7,000 square foot, HACCP compliant plant staffed by over 20 professionals will ensure all your finfish, shellfish and smoking requirements are exceeded time and time again.
On top of having a direct line to our shellfish growing company Pentlatch Seafoods, an award winning shellfish culturing company that grows some of the finest oysters and clams in BC, we pride ourselves in sourcing only the best quality products from other growers and fishermen in BC helping to generate economic opportunity in many rural and coastal areas throughout the province.
